Their food is delicious. They have lao style papaya salad, their medium is spicy as it is authentic Thai spicy so choose your spicy level carefully. Their kapoon is good, just a little bit on the sweeter side. The pho is alright, just wish they give more broth as the rice noodles soaked all of the broth up. They have two kinds of larp, the raw and cooked kind. The kaopiet is alright. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some real authentic Thai/Lao food.

Super authentic Laos food. I was super happy to come here and taste all the flavors that I haven't tasted in a long time. It definitely made me miss my dad. I would definitely recommend this place. I love that they specialize in so many different papaya salads. I have to try all of them!

This is my go to spot when it comes to Lao food. I'd always recommend at least the Larb and/or Papaya salad. If you can handle heat I'd say do it but I'd suggest to get one dish with lower heat incase you end up dying from heat. Kao Poon or Kao Soy are noodle soups I would highly recommend also since you can only find it at Lao places. Pun Pah (fish wrap) or Mok Pah (steamed salmon) are also really good Lao type dishes that don't disappoint and are also not spicy. The service may be kind of slow at times since there's not as many servers but once you get your food you won't be disappointed. The interior of the place isn't too bad. It's just a generic restaurant look but like always, the food is the main attraction. There's not too many Lao places in Vegas so I'd say this one is a gem. If you never had Lao food, it's pretty similar to Thai food.

Wow how often do you get to try Laotian food locally! This restaurant was fairly busy on a Monday afternoon. It's great seeing locals come in and out. Service was extremely fast, like this is a great place to get a quick bite or to-go. * laos sausage (5/5) - very lemongrassy * fried intestine (4/5) - some have a lil stringent flavor * mee ga thi (5/5) - creamy and love the way the cabbage cooks in here * thum kao piek (4/5) - fishy in a delicious way * sticky rice (5/5) - 100% get this on the side to soak up main dish flavors I haven't had a lot of Southeast Asian food so some flavors are new to me. I had this restaurant saved in my bookmarks for the longest time and I'm really glad we tried it!

I have been looking everywhere for Kao poon. So when I finally stumbled across this place--they have met my expectations. The only thing was the chicken. I was expecting shredded chicken, I don't remember if the menu stated chicken feet. But it was served with chicken feet, which I'm not a fan of. So next time, I go--I'm just going to order without the chicken. But we got there when it just opened, so the restaurant was empty. The seating area was a decent size. Most Laos + Thai spots only have Kao Soi, which they also have. But they prepare the soups the traditional way and not the modern style that everyone has prepared & served the dish, which is why I like this spot. Come check it out for yourself. It reminds me a little peace of home. 4/5 Recommend!

Lao kitchen is the real deal!! I'm Thai and it's honestly hard to find super authentic Thai spots. Lao kitchen is Lao, not Thai, but it reminded me of authentic Thai food I would have at my family's house. They actually know what spicy is. You can choose spice level and versus those other Thai spots that give you 1-10, 10 is never spicy. But THIS SPOT OMG. I felt my soul burning . I got the raw shrimp papaya salad and literally tasted like this same exact one I had in Thailand. It burned like lava and I was so happy and crying at the same time. Also got Lao sausage and it was fire!! Can't wait to go back and try more.
